  • 2020 brings an exciting chapter for Nada Ghazal as the brand that carries her name celebrates 15 years of solid growth thanks to it loyal customers.

The journey began in 2004 when Nada Ghazal took a leap of faith leaving behind a successful career in advertising to follow her true passion and fulfil her dream of building an international brand. It didn’t matter what it was. What mattered was for it to be bold, authentic and connects with people around the globe. Nada G was born. With a crystal clear vision Nada knew that’s she wanted to emotionally connect with others around the world through creations and the stories they tell. She wanted to become a permanent part of people she touches.

15 years later the brand is stronger than ever. 2020 marks the evolution of Nada G to Nada Ghazal Fine Jewelry, and its international expansion to the UAE, Europe and the US.

Ever the visual storyteller, Nada celebrates this milestone by introducing the exciting new collection ‘Baby Malak Flourish'. Inspired by a sentiment of hope, and designed at a time when our world at home as well as globally is in upheaval the 'Baby Malak Flourish' jewels stand as a reminder that no matter how difficult things are we need to stand tall, resist and rise up to assert our presence.

“With what Lebanon is going through, I wanted to create a collection that entices us to stand tall and fight for what is rightfully ours.  I felt that we shouldn’t simply accept the situation, we and we should not stand still. We need to evolve, we need to constantly change to grow, because it is dangerous not to.

'Baby Malak Flourish' brings families of rings and earrings, cuffs and torques sprinkled with icy diamonds and multicoloured sapphires. They come in diverse shapes and sizes, that can be elegantly mixed and matched and can easily evolve from a day look to a night look.

The new collection is available in  Nada Ghazal’s atelier in D Beirut as well as in international points of sales and Nada Ghazal’s online store www.nadaghazal.com.

The lotus flower is one of the most revered spiritual symbols and is a sign of birth, purity and love.

The latest designs are crowned with rutile quartz, or what was known by the ancients who were drawn to its golden lustre as ‘Venus Hair Stone’ after the fine golden ‘hairs’. “Rutile has a healing energy that draws you, opens your chakras, and clears the way to spiritual awakening.  I feel we desperately need that during these challenging times we live in”, says Nada.

  • International Award-Winner Nada G (now Nada Ghazal Fine Jewelry) to take part in ‘Beirut Design Week 2019: Design & Nostalgia’ with limited edition 18k gold fine-jewelry pieces, nostalgic at heart, for future generations to come.

The collection called ‘HERITAGE & HEIRLOOMS’ is inspired by the heirlooms Nada Ghazal, Founder & Creative Director of Nada G, saw being passed on from the women in her life to their daughters.

Beirut, July 2nd 2019: for the 3rd year, Nada G takes part in the 8th edition of Beirut Design Week dedicated to “Design & Nostalgia” taking place from July 1 – 7, 2019. Nada G’s participation will include a bespoke installation at Starco, Downtown Beirut, which will showcase their limited edition 18k gold fine-jewelry pieces dedicated to this event. Nada G will also have a nostalgic themed cocktail on the 3rd of July at their headquarters in D-Beirut.

The ‘Heritage & Heirlooms’ limited-edition collection comprises of four unique designs with only 10 pieces of each design being produced for this occasion.

The items are designed by Nada Ghazal, Founder and Creative Director of Nada G, based on this year’s theme, ‘Design & Nostalgia’ and inspired by memories of witnessing heirlooms being passed on from one generation to the next.

“I grew up in a very close-knit traditional Lebanese family who like most Lebanese families are connected to their heritage and proud of their history” Said Nada. “A tradition, I have witnessed so many times is mothers gifting their daughters heirlooms they’ve been given by their mothers before as if to pass the torch forward and continue this tradition.” She continued.

It is quite common for mothers in the Arab world who don’t have a source of revenue to gift their daughters jewelry which they wore, as well as heirlooms they were given by their mother before them. This tradition, that has continued through time via the matriarchal bloodline for generations, seems to be disappearing for various reasons.

“My inspiration for this limited collection is drawn from the pieces I saw being passed on from my mother to my sister and from mothers of my close family members to their daughters. I think it’s a beautiful tradition and the pieces spread happiness and joy, strengthen social ties and preserve this beautiful heritage of ours with a genuine unique gift that has both financial and sentimental values.” Nada says

“For those women who were lucky to receive heirlooms from their mothers, the tradition can continue by passing these to their daughters. For others who were less fortunate, I invite you to start your own with one of these beautifully designed limited pieces.” she continues.

The limited-edition collection includes 18k gold bracelets, set with diamonds and precious stones, that combine the old and the new through an amalgamation of vintage gold jewelry designs that Nada’s ancestors wore and Nada G’s distinct designs. They will be on display at Starco, Downtown Beirut, from July 2 – 7, 2019 as well as all Nada G points of sale and sold at D-Beirut.

  • Award-winning Nada G (now Nada Ghazal Fine Jewelry)  have partnered for the 3rd consecutive year with Sursock Museum to launch a new capsule collection called ‘Power of Light’. The collection is inspired by the designs of the rose window traceries and the fanlight windows of the museum which were based on the lotus flower.

Nada Ghazal, Designer, Founder and Managing Partner of Nada G has consistently designed jewelry based on her experiences and her will to translate those designs into beautiful jewelry items with a soul that embody positivity; ‘Power of Light’  is no different. The lotus flower designs which graces the rose windows, fanlights and the traceries of Sursock Museum is one of the most revered spiritual symbols and is what inspired Nada for this collection. “Of all the lotus flower symbolisms, to me rebirth, purity, love, power and light are the most powerful symbols that it represents.” Says Nada. “Sursock Museum, bejeweled with the lotus designs on its facades, exude elegance, beauty, perfection and purity and I hope that women feel the same wearing this collection.” She adds

It’s no surprise that the designer was inspired by the architectural designs and the symbols behind the lotus flower in Sursock Museum, but for Nada G rebirth came in the month of November as they opened their 5th branch in Lebanon in D-Beirut - Karantina road which also houses their first atelier and is their permanent headquarters. Rebirth comes in the form of a large open space atelier, a slightly grandeur version of the one Nada started her business with in 2004.

Visitors can now not only purchase jewelry from the D-Beirut headquarters and atelier, they can also watch craftsmen and women in their element translating Nada’s designs into pure masterpieces. “We are so humbled to be working in the presence of such creative souls who are passionate about their craft and driven by perfection” says Nada. ‘The aura of the space is filled with power and light and this collection was the first one they worked on when we moved in. As a result we have chosen ‘Power of Light’ to be the name of the collection which we hope can be transferred to those who wear pieces from them” she continues.

‘Power of Light’ come in 18 carat gold yellow, white or pink gold  in earrings, rings, chokers, cuffs and bracelets, and are available in Sursock Museum store and at Nada G boutique, atelier and points of sale across Lebanon starting the 9th of December just in time to spread love and light in the holiday season.

  • Award-winning  Nada G (now Nada Ghazal Fine Jewelry) has designed and produced ‘IDentity’, a bespoke collection aimed at those who believe in unifying the cultures of the world by melding the East and the West to create a synergy of one people, one place, and one ‘IDentity’.

The collection is inspired by peace, conflict and coexistence; a symbiosis that the peoples of this area have become accustomed to over the past several millennia. It’s a tribute to the various cultures around the Mediterranean that have developed in contact with each other and where ideas have easily crossed linguistic, cultural, and religious boundaries.

“There is no denying how the intersection of East and West has helped people attain new heights of human culture; ‘IDentity’, is an homage to those who have flourished as a result of intense activity of cultural transmission between the various cultures” says Nada Ghazal, Founder and Creative Director of N Nada G who draws on that from personal experience. “Lebanon is the intersection of East and West and the beauty of Lebanon and its people is a result of the amalgamation of various cultures who have come in touch with the Lebanese people. This dichotomy has resulted in some of the most beautiful linguistic, cultural, architectural and religious nuances that have given this community a richer and more diverse culture”, she adds.

The collection which includes rings, ear cuffs and cufflinks, is a minimalistic visualizations using simple symbols and shapes from East and West to convey just how different the two cultures are and how beautiful they can be when merged. ‘IDentity’, is integrating the experience of coexistence into the life story of each piece of jewelry item. The designer hopes that each piece will help those who wear them cultivate positive energy, restore mindfulness, and nourish the spirit in a world full of clashes.

The collection, made with 18Karat gold and diamonds, will be unveiled at the Sursock Museum Store starting December 2016.

‘IDentity’ is  Nada G™’s third collection to be exclusively created for Sursock Museum Store after the success of their previous collection ‘Khaizaran – A Tribute to Lebanese Workmanship’. The collection will be sold exclusively at the venue.

  • Under the theme “Growing Sustainability”, and inspired by the craft of chair caning,  Nada G (now Nada Ghazal Fine Jewelry) produce a bespoke collection as a tribute to the good old days that brought families together.

After the success of its ‘Colour, Light & Dome’ created exclusively for Sursock Museum, Award-winning Nada G has been invited by Sursock Museum to celebrate this year's theme: ‘Growing Sustainably’ held from 20th to 29th of May.

Nada G has designed and produced a bespoke capsule collection ‘Khaizaran – A Tribute to Lebanese Workmanship’ to launch at Sursock Museum Store for its event ‘Culture Imagined’ held during the Beirut Design Week, and dedicated to Lebanese cultural sustainability.

Renowned for her collections inspired by her family, Nada Ghazal, Founder and Creative Director of Nada G has created ‘Khaizaran – A Tribute to Lebanese Workmanship’ as an homage to beautiful times when generations in her family used to sit together on Khaizaran chairs and go about their lazy afternoons. While the men in her family played a competitive loud game of backgammon, the women occupied themselves with crochet and other arts and crafts. And on special occasions, the chairs were used for other purposes she explains, “The Khaizaran chairs were ever present. I remember before Eid we would rigorously wash the surfaces of the chairs. My mother, grandmother and aunts would form delicate rings out of biscuit dough and before putting them on trays to bake in the oven, they would hand them to us children to dip in sesame and then gently press them on the surface of the chair so that the print of the chair would emboss on the biscuits. The biscuits came out of the oven lightly golden and we would pretend they were bracelets” Nada recalls. “I dedicate my collection to those hands that worked tirelessly, whether to produce perfect delicious delicately decorated golden Kaak (biscuits), or weave khaizaran chairs whose designs adorned the tasty Kaak” she adds.

The collection, made of 18karat gold and diamonds, which includes rings, bracelets, cuffs, and cufflinks, will be unveiled at the Sursock Museum Store during Beirut Design Week, and sold exclusively at the venue.

With this collection, the designer hopes that it will also trigger memories for others because Khaizaran furniture, or chair caning, is an ancient craft that is part of the Lebanese identity and the famous Gebrüder Thonet’s “No. 14 Chair”, used to be found in almost every Lebanese home.

Designer, Founder and Managing Partner of the high-end jewelry brand Nada G, Nada Ghazal has put her mark on one of 50 blank 3D 1.5m canvases in the shape of a Fish, which is displayed in the souk for three months and later auctioned.

Nada G has been known to capture the designer’s world of experiences, showcasing intricately designed masterpieces that exhibit pure order and overt perfection. These are timeless pieces that celebrate individuals by connecting emotionally with them.

With 'Fish at The Souks' Nada says "My inspiration for my design for the ‘Fish’ was the charities that were involved in this project and the children they help. Being a mother myself, I know that there is no greater pain a parent experiences than that of seeing a child suffering, and I wanted to offer the sincerest of prayers of the heart to those affected. The choice of the name ‘Halo of Hope’ was inspired by the fish’s symbolic association to good luck, eternity & happiness."

‘Let there be sparkles in their eyes, hearts pure as gold, smiles shining bright, and most of all a halo of hope’, is the inspiring poem created by the designer, describing her final artwork; a pearl white fish with golden fins, tail, eyes and mouth, embedded with sparkling crystals and adorned with golden rings, reflecting the ‘Halo’.

"Fish at The Souks" is held at the heart of the prestigious district shopping center ‘Beirut Souks’ for a period of three months. The event aims to provide access to free treatment and care to children with heart disease, children with cancer disease and children with critical illnesses by raising funds at the auction and through sponsorships, details of which can be found on www.sea-n-art.com.

This award validates our pursuit in delivering unique original timeless fine jewelry pieces with an edge, with which we aim to emotionally connect with women around the world.”

Nada G jewelry encapsulates the designer’s world of experiences, showcasing intricate masterpieces that exhibit a sense of order and form, designed as timeless pieces made of 18k gold and precious stones. Going against established norms, the pieces exhibit fragility in their coarseness, docility in their textures, and vibrancy in their candid statements. Each piece of jewelry echoes a different sense of emotion or memory, mirroring not only an adornment of the senses, but more so celebrating what they evoke to be a woman.

“Crawl is truly a unique piece and is symbolic of two opposing forces; good and evil. In my culture the lizard is representative of evil or sin and to fight off evil I have placed it on a tourmaline bed. The tourmaline stone is thought to change any negative energy to positive force. In essence it’s a reminder that the stone will protect you from evil or sin. In addition, Crawl’s uniqueness and design aims to give the woman who wears it an opportunity to be avant-garde and distinctive.”

  • Nada G (now Nada Ghazal Fine Jewelry) offers brides a unique opportunity: A custom made solitaire inspired by a bride’s dress, her veil, and her perfect day.

Beirut, March 2012:‘The perfect wedding’ is what every woman dreams of! Just think of how much time and effort women spend on harmonizing all wedding elements: from the gown, to the matching veil, to bridesmaids dresses, to table and flower arrangements, all of which are chosen to tell a story that materializes their dreams as girls growing up. Soon after the day has passed though, its quintessence becomes a mere memory that ends up as a distant image women reminisce on, or a picture in their living room.

Surely this is a flaw in how the essence of a most perfect day is preserved: enshrined in photographs or perhaps kept in a wardrobe fading away. There must be a way to capture the precious moments of the wedding day in a more permanent way.

Established Lebanese jeweler Nada Ghazal, Designer and Managing Partner of Nada G has done just that! She captures the essence of a bride’s wedding day in her latest designs. Her one of a kind, custom made solitaires are inspired by a bride’s dress, her veil, and her perfect day.

Nada says: “A solitaire should be no ordinary ring – it must capture all aspects of a wedding: not only symbolic or communal but also ceremonial. It should preserve these in a permanent adornment that an exceptional woman wears for life as a constant reminder of that perfect day. In order to do so, her solitaire must be unique, original, personal and tailored.”

The service Nada G offers is truly bespoke– Nada invites those soon-to-be-wed to book an appointment where they can conceptualize one-of-a-kind designs, personalizing them at their workshop in Gouraud Street, Gemmayzeh in Beirut.

Nada continues: “Now it is possible for the bride to share with us a wedding gown, or even a veil or head element before or after the wedding, and we would present a few personalized sketches inspired from that. The bride can then choose her favorite sketch, which Nada G will craft as a one off piece especially crafted for her to anchor the essence of her day.”

Nada G has evolved this idea beyond the wedding dress. “We can customize a ring or a piece of jewelry which represents an experience, a relationship, a memory or any other souvenir which can be shared from one generation to another.”

Nada invites brides-to-be to either of her Nada G‘s boutiques located in Gemmayzeh or the Beirut Souks of the Downtown Central District by appointment to help them craft this special memory.
